We had an AMAZING 5th grade camp this week! Students participated in a variety of fun team building stations and activities, designed to push them out of their comfort zones and into trying new experiences. This included archery, geocaching, ropes games, and many more! An article with more info will be posted on our website soon! In the mean time, here are some of the big happenings at LCE this week:
Fire Drill: Our 2nd Fire Drill is scheduled for Tuesday, weather permitting. Safety is a huge value of our school and is our first responsibility, so we practice how to evacuate the building if we ever had to do so in a real emergency.
Title I Informational Night: If your child receives Title I reading services with Mrs. Westbrook, please join us on Thursday at 6pm to learn more about the program and how Title I legislation positively impacts our school!
5th Grade Fall Parties: 5th grade will kick off Fall Party season on Friday! Parties will run from 12:30-1:30, and we will let parents in a few minutes early for setup. If you are coming and plan to bring a snack, please communicate that to your child's teacher so they can check allergy requirements. If you wish to take your Trailblazer home afterwards, you are welcome to do so, however it will count against their yearly attendance.
