Trailblazer Families,

We hope that you had a great time at our Trunk ‘r Treat last week!  We have some exciting events coming up this week, but first we had a few conference-related things to share with you.

Conference Sign Ups: Conference sign-ups went out on Saturday, 10/11.  The link hub will also be linked into the email version of this article (sent on Sundays).  Please find a time that works best for you as a family, and please make sure your child can attend.  Your Trailblazer is leading their conference, after all!  You will meet with your child’s homeroom teacher, who will be able to speak to your child’s learning/work in both content areas.

Conference Snacks: PTC generously donates snacks to our teaching staff at LCE and SPE, who are putting in two very long days during conferences.  These little boosts are always a huge hit.  If you are able to donate to this effort, PTC has shared a link to sign up

PE Club Time Change for This Week: Our 4th and 5th PE Clubs will have an adjusted time for this week.  Both clubs will meet after school from 4:00-5:45pm.  4th grade will be on Monday, and 5th grade will be on Wednesday.

Great Skate Night! Our second Great Skate Night of the year will be on Wednesday!  Great Skate will be graciously hosting us from 6-8pm.  This is not a “drop and go” event, and all Trailblazers must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or trusted adult.  We look forward to seeing many of you there!

Title I Book Bingo: For any students who work with Mrs. Westbrook, our Title I Book Bingo will be on Thursday!  Come on down for pizza, sodas, and Bingo fun, and round winners will earn a book.

4th Grade Fall Party: Our 4th Grade Fall Party will be on Friday, from 2:30-3:30pm!  We ask that if you intend on coming, be prepared to show a photo ID to our office staff, and if you are bringing a treat please communicate that to your child’s homeroom teacher.  Some of our Trailblazers have severe food-based allergies, and your child’s teacher is responsible for the safety of all.  Your child’s teacher will know your class’s allergy requirements/guidelines, so please work with them prior to bringing in anything edible for the party.

Thanks as always for your support, and for all you do for our Trailblazers.  If you have any questions reach out at any time!
