iReady Testing: Our Reading iReady assessment window kicks off on Monday! Our 3 grade levels may be taking the assessment at different times, so if you’re curious when your child is testing you may contact your child’s ELA teacher. This is a great opportunity for our Trailblazers to show what they know!
Discipline Reviews: On Wednesday, Mr. Brodbeck and I will be meeting with all grade levels to go over our discipline policies for second semester. We’ll be talking about school rules as related to bullying, harassment, threats, etc., and the importance of a safe and supportive learning community. We will also review our policies regarding resets, discipline referrals, and possible consequences. While this isn’t the most fun topic, we have found clear and consistent expectations and our efforts to build positive leadership-centered classrooms have truly helped our students be safe and successful at LCE!
Early Release Day: Wednesday, January 14 will be an early release day. Students dismiss at 1:30pm! Students will also meet in their leadership dens to continue building their leadership skills!
FZSD Board of Education Meeting: The January BOE meeting is on Thursday, January 15, starting at 6pm. This will take place at the District Administrative Office building, as usual.
90th Day of School! Friday will be our 90th day of school (what???)! Wear your best 90’s apparel!
