Martin Luther King Jr. Day: FZSD is closed and we have no school on Monday, January 19 for MLK Day!
iReady Offline Literacy Tasks Assessment: The final component of our iReady benchmarking kicks off on Tuesday with the Literacy Tasks assessment, where LCE staff pull students one on one to read with them and see where they are as readers in terms of accuracy, words per minute, and retell.
See to Learn Screening: See to Learn will be on campus Thursday for our mandatory 3rd and 5th grade vision screenings!
Illustrative Math Visit: Representatives from ILC, the company that makes our math resource, will be joining LCE/SPE admin teams for walkthroughs of both buildings during math class. We are excited to showcase the amazing work our mathletes do every single day!
Educator and Employee of the Year Voting: We will be announcing our Educator and Employee of the Year winners on Friday, January 23! We are excited to celebrate these leaders!

Believe it or not, our 2026 TALENT SHOW is just around the corner! This link takes you to the SAVE THE DATE, and there is also a permission slip attached for your child to audition for the show.
