No School, Presidents Day: Monday
Great Skate Night: Come join us at Great Skate on Tuesday, between 6-8pm. As a reminder, this is NOT a “drop and go” event, and all Trailblazers need to be accompanied by a parent/guardian/trusted adult.
DARE Graduation: Come celebrate our DARE graduates on Wednesday, 6:30pm, at East HS. We are still working on our rescheduled Spaghetti Dinner!
Mock Lighthouse Review Day: On Thursday, representatives from Franklin Covey will be on campus to observe leadership dens and leadership lessons, take student-led tours, to meet with our Student and Staff Lighthouse teams, and gauge our Lighthouse readiness! It’s our plan to go for Lighthouse Status review in April, if all goes well with our review! Send your Trailblazer in LCE spirit wear or at least red and black!

Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to celebrate kindness—and Parker our lifesaver’s league heart hero also teaches us to Be Kind. When we do kind things for others, it’s not only good for them… it’s actually good for our hearts, too.
That’s why we’re excited to launch Finn’s Valentine’s Day Kindness Challenge, happening this weekend February 13–15!
This weekend, families are encouraged to complete five acts of kindness. Every kind act strengthens our community and brings us one step closer to completing the mission together.
Ideas to get started:
Write a Valentine or encouraging note
Invite someone new to sit or play with you
Thank a teacher or school staff member
Help at home without being asked
Say something kind about yourself
And don’t forget —
Log on to your Kids Heart Challenge dashboard and complete Finn’s Mission!
By finishing the mission and supporting heart‑healthy learning, you are showing you care about others by learning the steps of hands-only CPR and the signs of a stroke.
Let’s make this Valentine’s Day meaningful by spreading kindness, lifting others up, and completing Finn’s Mission as a team.
