First, we are fast approaching our 2026 FZSD Suicide Awareness Walk. This will be on Saturday, April 18, at FZ West High School, starting at 10:30am. The first 150 people in attendance will get a FREE t-shirt, and your families are welcome to play games and speak to some of our vendors before, after or even during the walk. The flyer is attached!

Some families have asked about MAP testing dates. Right now, we are planning on the following:
Science, 5th Only: April 22 and April 23
ELA, All Grades: April 28-30
Math, All Grades: May 5 and May 7

Field Trips!: Our 3rd graders have their Busch Wildlife field trip this week! Scott, Roberts, Galvin, and Lemmons’ classes are going on MONDAY, and all other classes are going on TUESDAY!
Fire Drill: Our next Fire Drill is slated for MONDAY at 1:30pm (weather permitting!)
April PTC Meeting: Our April PTC meeting will be on MONDAY, at 5:30pm, at SPE!
FZSD Board of Education April Meeting: The April BOE meeting will be at 6pm at District Admin Office, on THURSDAY!

Tutoring Schedule This Week:
4th Reading Tutoring - Monday, 4:15pm
3rd and 5th Reading and 4th and 5th Math Tutoring - Tuesday, 8am
4th Gr. Math Tutoring - Wednesday, 8am
Our last week for tutoring will be the week of April 27!
