Some families have asked about MAP testing dates. Right now, we are planning on the following:
ELA, All Grades: April 28-30
Math, All Grades: May 5 and May 7

English Language Arts (ELA) MAP Testing: Our students will begin the ELA portion of the MAP test this week! Grades 3 and 5 complete 3 sessions related to reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Grade 4 completes these sections and completes a fourth section, which is a longer writing prompt. You can help your Trailblazer through words of encouragement, making sure they get a good night’s rest, and a healthy breakfast in the morning. We’ve got this!
Measurable Results Assessment survey: Our Trailblazers will complete the Measurable Results Assessment survey during technology classes this week. This survey gives us as a school perspective on students views of their own leadership skills and gives us ideas of how we can continue to grow our leaders into next year. If you would like to take the family survey, but cannot find the link, please email Mr. Johnson. Additionally, if you complete the survey and send a screenshot or photo of your confirmation screen to Mr. Johnson, your child will be entered into a drawing for an extra class recess!
BOGO Book Fair! This week is also our Buy One Get One (BOGO) Book Fair! Woohoo!
Fine Arts Fair!: Our annual Fine Arts Fair is on Tuesday night starting at 5:30pm. This coincides with St. Peters Elementary School’s Family Heritage Night. Join us for performances by our choir and recorder clubs, and tour the shared hallway between teh buildings to see samples of amazing student art! St. Peters has a variety of rooms set up with exhibits to highlight the various cultures represented in our school’s community!
Fire Drill: Our next Fire Drill will be on Friday, May 1, weather permitting!

Tutoring Schedule This Week:
4th Reading Tutoring - Monday, 4:15pm
3rd and 5th Reading and 4th and 5th Math Tutoring - Tuesday, 8am
4th Gr. Math Tutoring - Wednesday, 8am

Staff Appreciation Week is fast approaching! PTC has put together some ideas for gifts and goodies for staff members. This is of course 100% optional and any recognition of LCE (or SPE!) staff is appreciated!
