Math, All Grades: May 5 and May 7

Staff Appreciation Week: It is officially Staff Appreciation Week! We greatly appreciate the amazing work that all of our teachers, paras, bus drivers, office staff, clerks, cooks, and all the rest put in to ensure the building runs smoothly and to ensure ALL Trailblazers get the education they deserve. If you would like to write a digital appreciation note, click the link here! There is also a flyer below with optional (but appreciated!) gift ideas for your child’s favorite staff member!
Math MAP Testing: Our students will begin the Math portion of the MAP test this week! We will be testing on Tuesday and Thursday (skipping Wednesday due to the Early Release Day). You can help your Trailblazer through words of encouragement, making sure they get a good night’s rest, and a healthy breakfast in the morning. We’ve got this!
Early Release Day: Wednesday will be our next Early Release Day! As usual, we will have Leadership Dens and students will dismiss at 1:30pm.
Fly Up Night! We will have our 2nd annual Fly Up Night on Thursday, May 7. All families of rising 3rd graders (current 2nd graders) are welcome to attend to get information about our amazing school community!
Fire Drill: Our next Fire Drill will be on Friday, May 8, weather permitting!

Staff Appreciation Week is fast approaching! PTC has put together some ideas for gifts and goodies for staff members. This is of course 100% optional and any recognition of LCE (or SPE!) staff is appreciated!
