First Day of School!: Our first day of school is TUESDAY, August 25! We are very excited to welcome our students back for another great year of learning and leadership! A few first day of school tips:
Our amazing Transportation department takes pride in running a smooth operation from day one. However, with new students, new routes, new kindergarten students, etc., the first day’s bus operations may run behind. We appreciate your patience if buses are late to your child’s stop or are late leaving campus, and also recommend arriving at your stop 10 minutes early.
If you still need to purchase school supplies or have other back to school questions, our Back to School Headquarters remains a great source of info!
Arrival/Dismissal: If you are planning to pick up/drop off your Trailblazer(s), please review the attached information. We also ask that for this week and into the future that any transportation changes be called or emailed to the office, and preferably before 3:30 if at all possible. This gives our office team time to ensure all Trailblazers go home correctly each and every day.
Kickoff Assembly: We will be hosting a kickoff assembly for our students on WEDNESDAY of this week. Encourage your child to dress for the school year theme - Riding the Waves of Leadership! School appropriate beach wear, Hawaiian shirts, leis, etc. would all be approved apparel! We will also be reviewing our school discipline guidelines as part of our semesterly Discipline Review, talking about ways showing positive behavior and good leadership skills can make for a safer and happier LCE for all!
