Fire Drill 1: We rescheduled our first Fire Drill to Monday. During a fire drill, we simulate a building evacuation by ringing the fire alarm and clearing the building as safely and quickly as possible. Teachers take roll and as a building we account for all students, and then reenter when we have done so.
Intruder Drill 1: Our first Intruder Drill will be Tuesday. During these drills, we practice a shelter in place, and administrators walk the building and test door locks. We work together to make these practice scenarios as low-stress as possible, while also being proactive, in the hopes that we never have to use any of these procedures!
Great Skate Night: Our first Great Skate night of the year will be Wednesday, September 23! Come one, come all to a night of skating. This is not a drop and go event, and all Trailblazers need to be accompanied by a parent or a trusted adult. Great Skate is open to LCE from 6-8pm to all LCE students and their families.
Stay and Play: Our PTC Stay and Play will be Thursday, September 24, from 5-6:30pm! We can’t wait to see many families joining us and hopefully the weather cooperates this time around!
