Fort Zumwalt School District is launching an app called Stopfinder.

Stopfinder will allow parents and guardians to accurately track their student’s school bus in real-time. The easy-to-use app is secured so only authorized users will have access to school bus information. We encourage families to download the app and create your account as soon as you receive the email invitation from Stopfinder.

We will be introducing this app gradually, first to our elementary schools, throughout the first semester, so watch for your email invitation later this year. Stopfinder is free for ios and Android. You can see an overview in the video below. We are excited to bring this added layer of communication to our families.

Effective Aug. 18, 2025, the app is available to all families of students who use Fort Zumwalt special education buses as well as families at the following schools: Emge; Flint Hill; Forest Park; Hawthorn; JL Mudd; Mount Hope and Mike Clemens Center.

More elementary schools will come online over the course of the first quarter. Thank you for your patience.

Stopfinder is free to parents and guardians and allows users to customize when they receive alerts about their student’s bus location. The app is also a two-way communication tool, providing parents/guardians with an easy way to communicate quickly with district transportation officials and receive notifications instantly.

You can see an overview of the features here.

Not all features will be immediately available. You can also refer to the attached quick start guide or connect with the Stopfinder FAQs. We are excited to bring this added layer of communication to our families.
